The Line (2019)

Acrylic paints on canvas, 140 x 90cm. This painting looks at the perception of fear that is associated with crossing borders. A painting of a line of people entering a gridded man-made landscape. It uses a trope which is often used in political campaigns to insight fear: a queue.
