Listening booth (2019)

Acrylic, canvas, string, neon sign, metal fence, welded steel bars, looper, microphone, speakers 150 x 80 x 80cm. This interactive installation invites viewers to move around the booth, pressing buttons which activate 99 different audio questions, which are  then broadcast through a megaphone. Any responses that a participant makes are repeated by the work in an endless loop of cheerful small talk questions and answers until another button is pressed.
